Mary Jane's Story
Since 1969? That's a long time-- After graduating from Indiana U. in 1973, I taught a year at John Marshall HS in Indy, was married in 1974. We moved to San Diego, CA,and I taught Spanish for 4 years at a private Episcopal school in La Jolla. We moved to Chapel Hill NC for graduate school in 1979 (completed MA and then some) and in 1984 moved...Expand for more
to Beaufort on the NC coast. I taught h.s. and community college. Our son and daughter were born there, too, in 1988 and 1990. Life's best gifts! In 1995 we returned to San Diego, and I returned to Bishop's, which is where I continue. Divorced in 2004 and now an empty-nester, I enjoy hearing from old friends and sharing personal histories.
